Development of a model of green behavior of employees based on green human resources management measures (Study case: General Department of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Fars Province)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to present the green behavior pattern of employees based on green human resource management measures.Based on how the data was collected, the research is in the category of qualitative research that uses the Grounded theory.The research community included the managers and expert experts of the General Department of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Fars province; According to sampling adequacy and theoretical saturation, 17 people were selected and participated in the study by purposeful and snowball sampling.The data was collected by semi-structured interview method and Strauss and Corbin's constant comparison method was used in three stages of coding (open coding, axial coding and selective coding) to analyze the data.By conducting semi-structured interviews, primary conceptual codes were calculated and according to the coding process, the data were modeled in the form of sub-categories and the main (macro) category,and the validity of the research was checked and confirmed. The results of the research indicated that the model presented in6 main dimensions 1-causal conditions (environmental legal actors, environmental executive actors, independent environmental actors, environmental infrastructure actors) 2-core category (green behavior based on management green human resources) 3- practical and interactive strategies (green initiatives, green transformative leadership, green management, green movement) 4- background conditions (green culture, green technology, green empowerment, green structure, preparing the platform promotion, environmental value system) 5-intervening conditions (facilitating, limiting, green support) 6-consequences (self-efficacy, improvement of environmental performance, improvement of economic performance, improvement of social and cultural performance, improvement of political performance) Explanation has been.
